Sarah Abi-Khaled, RP (Qualifying) is based in Ottawa and provides support to children, adolescents, and young adults. She works with young people experiencing stress, anxiety, low mood, big emotions, self-esteem concerns, grief and bereavement, friendship or school-related struggles, and the impact of difficult or confusing life experiences. She also supports youth navigating life changes or simply wanting a safe, calm space to talk and understand their feelings. Sarah has a strong interest in working with neurodiverse children and teens, including those with ADHD and those on the autism spectrum.

Sarah is dedicated to creating a space where young people feel seen, heard, and supported. She believes therapy is most meaningful when built on compassion, collaboration, and trust. Her approach is client-centred and humanistic, and she integrates a range of therapeutic modalities, including solution-focused strategies, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), psychodynamic principles, and attachment-based approaches – to meet each child’s or teen’s unique needs. Sarah offers both in-person and virtual sessions and currently has availability for new clients.

Sarah completed a Diplôme d’études supérieures en psychothérapie (DESP) at the University of Hearst and is in the process of pursuing full registration as a psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (Registered Psychotherapist, Qualifying). At Queensview Professional Services, she is supervised by clinical psychologist Dr. Jennifer Vriend.
