Seyedmohammad Kalantar, Ph.D., provides psychotherapy to individuals aged 12 and up, couples and families. He offers therapy to people who are struggling with mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, stress, grief, loss, and trauma. Parenting skills, strengthening romantic relationships, marriage counseling and pre-marriage counseling are other parts of his practice.
His approach to therapy is integrative and client-need focused with a lens towards existential thoughts with a sensitivity to diversity, human dignity, and cultural differences. He believes that “You and I” together will take a deep, meaningful, full of feeling journey in a warm and confidential environment. Such a significant journey will intensely help you explore your mind, listen to your inside voice, feelings, and emotions. He aims to create a dialogue and an intimate therapeutic relationship where you share your concerns, find neglected aspects in your precious life, make decisions for your bright future, and experience a more meaningful and wonderful life.
He has received his Ph.D. and M.Ed. in Counselling Psychology from the University of Putra and the University of Ottawa.
Seyedmohammad Kalantar is a Registered Psychotherapist (qualifying) with the College of Psychotherapists of Ontario.
