Melissa Chapman is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and offers psychotherapy to adults experiencing symptoms associated with anxiety, post-traumatic stress, low mood, and perinatal mental health. Melissa also works with individuals who wish to maintain their wellness in recovery from experiences of psychosis.

Melissa has over 8 years of experience working as a clinician for the Royal Ottawa Health Care group, serving individuals in hospital to treat various mental health concerns. Using a compassionate and person-centred approach, Melissa integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with strategies from compassion and mindfulness-based practices, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and at times, Emotion Focused Therapy.

Melissa earned a Master of Arts in Psychology with a focus in forensics from Carleton University and a Masters in Counselling Psychology from Athabasca University.
