Dr. Eamon Colvin, C.Psych. (Supervised Practice) is a clinical psychologist in supervised practice who provides psychotherapy and assessment services to children, adolescents, and adults.

He provides services for a range of areas including mood concerns, anxiety (e.g., social anxiety, panic attacks, generalized anxiety, worry), substance use, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress symptoms, life adjustments, and interpersonal concerns.

People seek support for many reasons. Dr. Colvin’s approach to mental health services emphasizes forming a collaborative, genuine relationship with clients to identify their goals, strengths, and needs. He strives to create a warm environment in which people from all backgrounds feel comfortable being themselves. Dr. Colvin flexibly applies evidence-based treatment principles from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, among other approaches.

Dr. Colvin completed his Ph.D. at the University of Ottawa in Clinical Psychology during which time he trained various hospital, private practice, and community-based settings. He completed his predoctoral internship with Alberta Health Services at various hospital settings in Calgary.

Dr. Colvin is currently supervised by registered clinical psychologist Dr. Jacob Kaiserman, Psy.D., C.Psych., while he completes his registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.
