Joshua Carley, RP (Qualifying) provides support for children, teenagers, and young adults experiencing difficulties related to fears/worries (including obsessive-compulsive concerns), low mood, anger, loss, eating, friendships and other relationships, and general support for young people looking to discuss events in their lives. He is also passionate about providing support for young people on the autism spectrum. His goal is to create a welcoming environment for his clients. He believes that a rewarding experience requires a strong relationship, provision of accurate information, and research-based treatments. Joshua works with his clients both in-person and virtually and tailors his approach to best suit the needs of his clients.

Joshua has completed all coursework requirements in the Masters of Arts Education: Counselling Psychology program at the University of Ottawa and is currently completing his thesis on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on young adults’ mental health and well-being. He maintains a membership with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (Registered Psychotherapist, Qualifying). At Queensview Professional Services, he is supervised by clinical psychologist Dr. Julian Caza.
