Teresa Enright is a Speech-Language Pathologist providing assessment and intervention to toddlers, preschoolers, school-aged children, and adolescents. She uses both informal and formal assessment measures to evaluate communication skills, and develops therapy goals and plans accordingly. Areas of assessment include social communication; articulation, phonology, and motor speech; receptive and expressive language; and phonological awareness. Teresa provides intervention for a variety of populations, including but not limited to: Autism Spectrum Disorders, developmental disabilities, Language Learning Disabilities, and children with difficulties specific to communication. Consultation with caregivers and educational professionals can be arranged to support communication in a variety of contexts.

Professional Biography

Teresa graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Health Sciences in 2004. She went on to study at Dalhousie University, and graduated in 2007 with a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology. Teresa is registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario, and certified with the Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists. She has worked in a variety of contexts, including the Preschool Speech and Language Initiative Programs, private practice, and as part of a number of teams in Mental Health at CHEO. She currently has a private practice as well as providing services to preschoolers and the mental health teams at CHEO.
