Peter Anderson


Dr. Peter E. Anderson, C.Psych.

Dr. Anderson provides services in Clinical Neuropsychology to assess brain functioning in children and adolescents with varying medical conditions that are known or suspected to involve the central nervous system. He enjoys working with children and their parents and using the results of the neuropsychological assessment to problem solve with them in an interactive and practical manner.

Dr. Anderson earned his Ph.D. in clinical psychology in 1997 at the University of Windsor, where he still holds a position as an Adjunct Faculty member. He is registered as a Clinical Neuropsychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. Dr. Anderson completed postdoctoral fellowships in Clinical Neuropsychology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit and at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. Following this last position, he was employed as a staff Neuropsychologist at Sick Kids, where he worked with a number of populations, including children with multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, genetic disorders, sickle cell disease, low birth weight (i.e., premature birth), and most recently establishing the Neuropsychology arm of the Children's Stroke Program at Sick Kids. In 2004, Dr. Anderson completed a move to the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario, where he is employed as a Clinical Neuropsychologist.
